What kind of company is MVP?

MVP (Mega Volume Production) was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in Toronto, operating in mainland China and North America through two lines of business. In talent management, a dedicated team looks after each client long-term, covering positioning, channel operations, brand partnerships and reputation management. In cross-border brand marketing, MVP runs social media advertising abroad for Chinese companies and brands, Chinese-language PR and social media advertising for international brands entering China, and creator partnerships across the border.

MVP has two registered companies: 北京十方众声传媒有限公司 signs contracts for business in mainland China, and Mega Volume Production Inc. signs for business elsewhere. How to look both up: About MVP. How MVP differs from an MCN (a network that signs creators in large numbers) or a talent agency: the comparison.

Who does MVP work with?

MVP’s talent management serves four kinds of clients: creators and influencers, celebrities and artists, founders and executives, and companies and brands. Their influence comes from different places, so MVP works with each differently; how each type works with MVP, and how clients are selected, is on Who we work with.

What does MVP do for established public figures?

MVP’s talent management comes as five services. Strategy: working out who you are, who you speak to and why people remember you. Development: building up an account that already has a base and room to grow. Channel operations: running your accounts day to day. Partnerships: finding brands and negotiating deals. Protection: watching for bad press and dealing with infringement and crises. You can hand MVP all five or start with one.

What cross-border marketing does MVP do for brands?

MVP offers brands three cross-border services. Going global: ads on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, Google and YouTube, X, LinkedIn and other Western platforms for Chinese companies and brands, plus their official accounts abroad. China entry: Chinese-language press releases for foreign brands, and ads on Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), WeChat and other Chinese platforms. Cross-border influencer marketing: matching brands and creators between China and North America, in both directions. MVP opens the ad accounts and settles the spend, and reach and ROI targets can be written into the contract; see Brand marketing.

Which platforms and tools does MVP work with?

For promotion, PR and partnerships MVP works through the platforms’ own consoles and the industry’s standard tools: ad platforms in China and abroad, the official creator marketplaces, the press wires, ticketing and data tools.

How does working with MVP begin?

Working with MVP begins with an application, and talent management follows the five steps below; the details and the three ways of working together are on Our approach. Brand projects start from the same form; how the brief, the proposal and the quote follow is on Brand marketing.

  1. Apply

On the Contact page, say who you are, which platforms you are on and what you want to solve. You don’t have to give a real name yet, and no contracts or account data are needed at this stage.

  2. Initial review and reply

MVP assesses whether there is a fit and gives you a clear answer; only the people who review applications see yours.

  3. NDA, then a meeting

Both sides sign an NDA before the first meeting, or earlier if you ask. In the meeting you describe where you are and what you want, and you can ask about MVP’s method and team.

  4. Diagnosis and proposal

MVP first runs a diagnosis: a review of your accounts, content, deals, existing contracts and risks. Then it proposes a plan that says what will be done, who does it, for how long, what it costs and how to leave. The diagnosis is free.

  5. Sign and start

Once the contract is signed, a dedicated team looks after you long-term and agrees regular reviews with you.

Why choose MVP?

MVP works in two markets with one team accountable end to end: it operates in mainland China and North America at once, one team connects positioning, operations, partnerships, communications and risk management, and a dedicated team looks after each client long-term.

By its own count, as of October 2026 MVP works with about 20 talent clients across categories, with over 40 million followers across platforms; its founding team and partners bring more than 15 years in show production, tour promotion, event planning and media marketing.

For brands, MVP opens the ad accounts and settles the spend, and targets such as reach and ROI can be written into the contract, with the platforms’ ad-console reports as the evidence. Client information is handled under NDA; see Confidentiality.

What is changing for high-profile creators and public figures?

Frequently asked questions

What does MVP mean by “talent management”?

At MVP, talent management means building and looking after the public profile of a founder, creator, celebrity or company, which Chinese marketers call an “IP”. It is not HR talent management (hiring and developing employees), and MVP does not license entertainment franchises or design characters or mascots.

Why does MVP only work with established public figures?

Because a dedicated team looks after each client long-term: strategy, day-to-day accounts, brand deals and protection together. “Established” means, for creators, at least 100,000 followers and a steady record of content and brand deals; celebrities, founders and companies are judged by their standing in their field, not by follower count alone. How each kind of client pays is set out under How does MVP charge?. This bar applies to talent management only; brand work has no minimum, see Brand marketing.

Does someone who is already well known still need a talent manager?

It depends on whether today’s problems are more than your current team can handle. Once you are known, the question usually shifts from being seen to lasting: a positioning that has aged, weaker deals, a team pulling in different directions and more risk. Those problems need one team that answers for the whole picture.

Which markets and languages does MVP work in?

MVP works in mainland China and North America, in Chinese and English. Talent management covers Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), Weibo, Bilibili and WeChat as well as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, see Channel operations; brand work takes Chinese brands abroad, mainly to North America, and brings international brands into China, see Brand marketing. The two contracting companies are listed on About MVP.
