Personal branding agency for founders and executives
MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) is a personal branding agency for founders, executives and professionals with standing in their field. It first agrees with you what you will and will not talk about; a dedicated team then plans, scripts, edits, posts and brings in opportunities, while you appear on camera and approve the key pieces. The account stays in your name or that of an entity you choose.
What does MVP do for a founder, and how is it paid?
MVP builds your own account for you: it first agrees with you what you will and will not talk about, then its team writes, films, edits and posts while you appear on camera and approve the key pieces. Fees are tied to commercial income, and the account stays yours.
What MVP does for you
First it settles with you what you stand for, who you speak to, which topics you stay away from and which parts of your life stay private, and writes this down. Then the team chooses topics, writes scripts, edits and posts, working with outside crews for filming and other specialist work; you appear on camera in concentrated sessions and approve the key pieces. After that it brings in media, speaking and brand opportunities and watches for bad press and privacy risk.
How MVP is paid
Applying is free, and so is the diagnosis before signing, which judges whether a personal brand is worth building for you and which platform comes first. Fees for a personal brand are tied to commercial income; positioning on its own is charged as a project. How the fees are calculated is set out item by item in the proposal and shown to you before you sign. How each kind of client is charged: how MVP charges.
What stays yours
The account stays in your own name, or in the name of an entity you choose, and is never moved to MVP. You do not hand over your password: you give access through the platform’s own feature for adding team members and can take it back at any time. When the work ends, all access comes back to you. Key pieces go out only after you have seen them.
How to start
You can talk to MVP before you have an account or a single follower. The 100,000-follower threshold applies to creators only; a founder or professional is judged on standing in their industry, not on follower count alone, and the work can start from setting up the account. You, your chief of staff or your communications lead can contact us. Every application gets a reply, including those that are not a fit for now.
What does a founder’s personal brand do for the company?
A founder’s personal brand mostly pays off through the company rather than as direct income: the company gains a face people can come to know, investors, job candidates and large clients can learn about the company through what the founder says in public, and the founder’s views on the industry have a steady outlet. Executive branding is the same work for a senior executive who speaks for the company.
For doctors, lawyers and other professionals, the return is professional influence and the reputation of their institution, and the work has to stay within the rules of their profession (see the FAQ below).
MVP does not promise follower numbers, income or a date for results. What you do see is a written positioning and voice guide, the content the team produces and posts, and regular reviews.
Chinese marketers call this a “founder IP” or “boss IP”; the general definition is in the glossary under Founder brand, and the wider concept under Personal brand.
Does every founder need a personal brand? Who is it for?
A personal brand is worth the investment when the company needs a face people can trust and you are willing to speak in public and carry the risk that comes with it. Wanting clients and partners to know the company through you is a good reason; wanting only short-term traffic, or wanting to use the personal brand to recruit franchisees, is not a fit.
Founders and entrepreneurs
Founders whose company needs someone to stand for the brand, whose own credibility helps with fundraising and hiring, or who work in an industry where clients decide on trust. MVP looks at where you and your company stand in your industry, with priority for companies that already have standing, and not at follower count alone. If you have no account, the work can start from setting one up; if you are not sure you qualify, ask.
Chairs, CEOs and senior executives
Leaders of listed companies and groups who speak for their company and industry. Executives of listed companies have an extra step: what they say in public is subject to disclosure rules, so content is checked with the corporate secretary, communications and legal teams before it goes out. What can be said is settled first, then the publishing rhythm (details under the risks below).
Professionals with standing
Professionals with standing in their field. Doctors and lawyers can build a personal brand but must follow their profession’s rules: a doctor may not use health education to sell products, for example, and a lawyer may not promise outcomes. Whether to work together is assessed case by case (details in the FAQ below).
What does MVP do as a personal branding agency?
MVP combines five services according to where you are: strategy settles what you stand for and what you will not talk about; development sets up the account from zero and gives it a base; operations runs content and platforms over the long term; partnerships brings in media, speaking and brand opportunities; protection handles bad press and privacy risk. Platforms are chosen per person, typically WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu and Douyin in China. MVP also works across markets, for example helping a Chinese founder build credibility in North America or a Western executive become visible in China.

What does the personal branding process look like?
After signing, the work runs in three steps, and each one says what it needs from you. The five steps from applying to signing (apply, first review and reply, a meeting after an NDA is signed, diagnosis and proposal, signing) are on the approach page. The diagnosis is free: MVP learns about your company, your industry and your concerns about speaking in public, and judges whether a personal brand is worth building and which platform comes first.
Positioning, and what stays unsaid
MVP settles the views you stand for, the audience you speak to, the topics you avoid and the parts of your life that stay private, and writes them up as a voice guide. Your part: in-depth interviews.
Accounts and content
The team handles topics, scripts, editing and posting, and works with outside crews for filming and other specialist work; you appear on camera in concentrated sessions and approve the key pieces, so what is published reflects your own views. Your part: filming sessions and approving key pieces.
Long-term operations and risk watch
MVP reviews influence and the return to the business regularly, brings in media, speaking and brand opportunities, and keeps watching for bad press and privacy risk. Your part: review meetings.
What are the risks of a founder building a personal brand?
A founder’s personal brand carries four risks: your image is tied to the company, privacy and family are exposed, your time runs out, and providers vary widely in quality.
Your image is tied to the company
One careless remark or controversial view can hit the company’s brand, partners’ trust and even its share price. Chairs and executives of listed companies have an extra check: public statements must follow disclosure rules and be cleared with the corporate secretary and legal team before they go out. In China the rule is the CSRC’s Measures for the Administration of Information Disclosure by Listed Companies.1
Privacy and family are exposed
The better known you are, the greater the risk that your home address, travel, family and wealth are dug up. Decide in advance which parts of life are public and which never are, and have a plan for account security and leaks; see reputation and risk.
Your time runs out
A founder’s time is scarce. An approach that needs daily filming, livestreaming or replying to comments rarely lasts. A workable one puts your time into your views and into approving key pieces, and leaves the rest to the team.
Providers vary widely
Many “personal branding” services sell packages and teach instead of doing the work. Before signing, check whether a firm delivers a team that does the work for you or a course that teaches you to do it yourself.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a personal branding agency cost for a founder?
Fees for a personal brand are tied to commercial income; positioning on its own is charged as a project. The figures are not published on this site: they come with the proposal and are written down item by item before you sign. Whether third-party costs such as production or paid promotion are charged separately is listed too, so the proposal can go through internal approval and accounting. Applying and the diagnosis are free.
How long does it take, and how much of my time does it need?
Building a personal brand is long-term work: influence builds slowly, and MVP does not promise follower numbers or reach within a short period. Your time goes into three things: positioning interviews, concentrated filming and approving key pieces. The team does the rest; the process above says what each step needs from you.
How is MVP different from other personal branding agencies?
MVP puts a team on the work and on review; it does not teach you to do it yourself. It sells no courses, training products or packages and offers no monthly-fee coaching. It does not promise follower numbers, income or brand deals; what it commits to is the work written into the contract and regular reviews. It never names its clients. Whichever firm you choose, check the delivery model, account ownership and exit terms before signing.
What should a personal branding contract include?
At least six things: the scope of services; ownership of accounts and content; how your name and likeness may be used and for how long; confidentiality; fees; and how the engagement ends. Under Chinese law, if the two sides read a clause on the use of your likeness differently, it is interpreted in favor of the person portrayed, which is you.2 MVP’s principle is that your accounts are held in your own name or that of an entity you choose.
Can doctors and lawyers build a personal brand?
Yes, within their profession’s rules. Doctors in China may not use health education to sell medical products or health food, for example by livestream selling, may not promote content outside their own specialty, and may not post under their institution’s name or their own post without first reporting to the institution; the profile of a medical-education account must also show the name of the MCN (an agency that signs and serves creators) it is signed with. Lawyers may not claim or imply that they are recognized experts in a field, promise outcomes or advertise win rates. The rules are the 2025 notice on health science content by self-media accounts from the Cyberspace Administration of China and three other departments,3 the 2025 negative list for medical staff from the National Health Commission and two other departments,4 and the All China Lawyers Association’s trial rules on promoting lawyers’ services.5 The platforms’ credential rules for accounts in specialist fields are under Talent development.
