Digital talent management: who we work with and how we choose

MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) provides digital talent management for founders and executives, creators, celebrities and companies, from strategy to protection, with one dedicated team per client. As of October 2026 it works with about 20 clients with over 40 million combined followers. It works only with established talent: creators on audience and commercial record, the others on industry standing.

How do the four client types in MVP’s digital talent management differ?

The four kinds of clients draw their influence from different places: founders and executives from their professional standing, creators and influencers from platform content and their audience, celebrities and artists from their work and public recognition, and companies from their brand and organization. For creators the work is close to influencer representation; for companies it centers on the founder’s and the brand’s public voice. MVP’s Chinese site calls all four “IPs”, the Chinese industry word for a person or brand with public influence. Each page says what MVP does for that kind of client, how it is paid and how to start.

How does MVP choose who it works with?

MVP assesses every engagement on five criteria: influence and standing, compliance and reputation record, room to grow, long-term commitment and shared confidentiality. The thresholds differ by kind of client; follower count alone never decides, and neither does willingness to pay. MVP charges no signing, onboarding, training, incubation or packaging fees, applying is free, and it never charges anyone in the name of recruiting, training or signing. If you are not sure you qualify, apply anyway: every application gets a reply.

  • Influence and standing

Creators: at least 100,000 followers and steady content and brand deals. That is all “established” means here, and an account with 150,000 followers is within range. Founders, celebrities and companies are judged on standing in their industry, not on follower count alone: for founders, professional standing and company size; for celebrities, their body of work and public recognition; for companies, scale and position in the industry. A founder can start from setting up the account.

  • Compliance and reputation record

No unresolved major compliance issues, no record of faked data or false advertising, and past deals that stand up to checks. Before any engagement, MVP reviews public information and reputation. The public records such a review draws on are listed under partnerships.

  • Room to grow

A clear next goal that can be reached, such as a change of direction, steadier income, a new platform, or doing more for the company’s business. Someone who only wants to keep things as they are may not need MVP.

  • Long-term commitment

Willingness to plan by the year rather than watch the numbers week by week, and to give the time that key decisions and content approvals need. MVP does not promise short-term reach or income; what it commits to is the work written into the contract and regular reviews.

  • Shared confidentiality

Both sides sign a non-disclosure agreement before the first meeting, and you may ask to sign it earlier. By default neither side makes the relationship public; if you want to, the scope is agreed in writing with MVP, and MVP never uses the relationship in its marketing. See confidentiality.

How can you tell whether an account’s audience is real?

To tell whether an audience is real, check whether the numbers agree with each other: whether follower growth jumps without any post to explain it, whether likes, saves and comments are in proportion to views, whether comments read like templates, and whether followers cluster oddly by region or device. The result is a likelihood, not a verdict.

How data tools work this out, and the US rule against buying and selling fake followers, are in the glossary under Audience quality; which data to rely on when checking is under where assessment data should come from. China’s rules bar faked numbers too: agencies and agents in radio, television and online audiovisual services may not hype by faking traffic or manipulating comments,1 and livestream room operators and livestream marketers may not invent or alter transaction, follower, view or like data.2

Frequently asked questions

Can one firm manage both founders and creators?

Yes, because MVP builds each engagement around where the client’s influence comes from. A founder’s influence comes from professional standing, so the return shows up in the company’s brand, fundraising and partners’ trust; a creator’s comes from platform content and audience, so it shows up in brand deals, selling products and partnerships. See founders and executives and creators and influencers.

Should a company build the founder’s personal brand or the company brand first?

A personal brand is built on one person, a company brand on the brand and the organization. If the founder is willing to speak publicly and can carry the personal risk, starting with the personal brand works; otherwise the company brand is the safer start. Both can run together, provided accounts and risk are kept separate; see companies and brands.

Can I apply if I already have a manager, agent or MCN contract?

Yes. MVP does not help anyone break a contract: it first looks at the scope and term of your current agreements, then works only in areas that do not conflict, or waits until the contract ends. If a contract is already in dispute, see reputation and risk.

Who is not a good fit for MVP?

People who want only short-term numbers, expect promises of reach or income, want to use the relationship to recruit franchisees or sell business opportunities, or have unresolved compliance issues. MVP sells no courses, training products or packages and does not promise follower numbers, income or brand deals; what it does is put a team on the work and write the scope, the term and the exit conditions into the contract before signing. How it differs from an MCN or a talent agency is on what we do.
