## Who does MVP work with?

MVP's talent management serves four kinds of clients: creators and influencers, celebrities and artists, founders and executives, and companies and brands. Their influence comes from different places, so MVP works with each differently; how each type works with MVP, and how clients are selected, is on [Who we work with](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/ip).

- [Personal branding agency for founders and executives](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/ip/personal): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) is a personal branding agency for founders, executives and professionals with standing in their field. It first agrees with you what you will and will not talk about; a dedicated team then plans, scripts, edits, posts and brings in opportunities, while you appear on camera and approve the key pieces. The account stays in your name or that of an entity you choose.
- [Influencer management agency for established creators](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/ip/influencers): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) is an influencer management agency for established creators with steady content and brand deals. It negotiates deals, runs accounts across platforms, plans changes of direction and handles impersonation, abuse and contract risk. A dedicated in-house team looks after each creator; MVP takes an agreed share of income earned, shows every item of income and cost, and the accounts stay in the creator's name.
- [Celebrity management company for social media and digital presence](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/ip/celebrities): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) is a celebrity management company for the social media side of a career: it runs the accounts of actors, musicians, athletes and hosts, builds their public image and commercial value beyond their work, and looks after account security and bad press. A dedicated team works as a service partner alongside the agent, manager and assistants, and the accounts stay in the celebrity's name.
- [Founder-led marketing and executive visibility for companies](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/ip/corporate): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) builds founder-led marketing for companies: it plans and runs the official brand accounts, the founder's and executives' accounts and employee accounts as one system, so customers recognize and trust the company. MVP delivers the audit, the strategy and account-network plan, the account structure and long-term operations, with the core work done by its own team, and prices each project by its needs and deliverables.

## What does MVP do for established public figures?

MVP's talent management comes as five services. Strategy: working out who you are, who you speak to and why people remember you. Development: building up an account that already has a base and room to grow. Channel operations: running your accounts day to day. Partnerships: finding brands and negotiating deals. Protection: watching for bad press and dealing with infringement and crises. You can hand MVP all five or start with one.

- [Personal brand strategy and positioning](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/strategy): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) builds personal brand strategy for established creators, celebrities, founders and companies. It works out with you four things: what you are known for, who you speak to, what you talk about, and which deals you will not take. It suits a change of direction, a plateau, a new platform or a founder stepping forward. MVP's own team delivers a written plan you can act on.
- [Talent development: a creator incubator for proven talent](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/incubation): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) runs a creator incubator for established creators, artists and experts with room to grow. It sets the direction with you and builds the content, operations, deal and risk routines that turn a growing account into a long-term career. A dedicated team stays with each client, and MVP's income comes from a share of the client's real commercial deals.
- [China social media management for public figures and brands](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/operations): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) provides China social media management for established creators, celebrities, founders and companies. Its in-house team plans content, schedules posts, looks after fan communities, reviews the numbers and checks every post before it goes live, on Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, Bilibili and WeChat as well as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. The accounts stay in your name.
- [Brand partnerships agency for creators, celebrities and founders](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/partnerships): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) works as a brand partnerships agency for creators, celebrities, founders and companies. It finds brand, platform, media, entertainment and live-event deals that fit you, negotiates fees and contracts, and follows delivery and payment, all through its own team. Every deal is checked for fit with your positioning before negotiation begins. Brands looking for creators: see [cross-border influencer marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands/influencer-marketing).
- [Celebrity reputation management and risk protection](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/protection): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) provides celebrity reputation management and crisis response for celebrities, creators, founders and companies. It watches for risks, and when something goes wrong it checks the facts, prepares the response, reports false or infringing content and helps repair the damage. Public statements go out in your name, never MVP's. Long-term work includes monitoring and crisis response; a single incident can be a one-off project.

## What cross-border marketing does MVP do for brands?

MVP offers brands three cross-border services. Going global: ads on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, Google and YouTube, X, LinkedIn and other Western platforms for Chinese companies and brands, plus their official accounts abroad. China entry: Chinese-language press releases for foreign brands, and ads on Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), WeChat and other Chinese platforms. Cross-border influencer marketing: matching brands and creators between China and North America, in both directions. MVP opens the ad accounts and settles the spend, and reach and ROI targets can be written into the contract; see [Brand marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands).

- [Social media advertising for Chinese brands going global](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands/go-global): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) helps Chinese companies and brands grow abroad, mainly in North America: it runs ads on TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, Google and YouTube, X and LinkedIn, manages official accounts, brings in overseas creators and distributes English press releases. Ad accounts are opened in MVP’s name and MVP settles the spend, and reach and ROI targets can be written into the contract.
- [China entry: PR and social media ads for foreign brands](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands/china-entry): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) helps foreign brands enter China. It distributes Chinese-language press releases and works with the media, runs ads on Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), WeChat and Channels, Weibo, Bilibili, Kuaishou and Baidu, sets up and runs official Chinese accounts, and connects brands with Chinese creators. One team runs all four, in ad accounts opened in MVP's name, with reach and ROI targets written into the contract.
- [Cross-border influencer marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands/influencer-marketing): MVP (Mega Volume Production, 十方众声) has run cross-border influencer marketing since 2023, in both directions: it connects North American brands with creators in mainland China and Asia, and Chinese brands with Chinese-speaking creators in North America, and runs creator campaigns inside China too. One MVP team finds and vets creators, negotiates, reviews content and its ad disclosure, and reports results against platform data.

## Which platforms and tools does MVP work with?

For promotion, PR and partnerships MVP works through the platforms’ own consoles and the industry’s standard tools: ad platforms in China and abroad, the official creator marketplaces, the press wires, ticketing and data tools.

### Paid promotion in mainland China

Once a piece is out, MVP watches how it does on its own, then buys reach for what is already working: small boosts through each platform’s own boost tool, larger campaigns through its ad console. How much, to whom and when to stop are decided by the numbers.

## How does working with MVP begin?

Working with MVP begins with an application, and talent management follows the five steps below; the details and the three ways of working together are on [Our approach](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/approach#engagement). Brand projects start from the same form; how the brief, the proposal and the quote follow is on [Brand marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands).

1. **Apply**: On the [Contact](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/contact) page, say who you are, which platforms you are on and what you want to solve. You don't have to give a real name yet, and no contracts or account data are needed at this stage.
2. **Initial review and reply**: MVP assesses whether there is a fit and gives you a clear answer; only the people who review applications see yours.
3. **NDA, then a meeting**: Both sides sign an NDA before the first meeting, or earlier if you ask. In the meeting you describe where you are and what you want, and you can ask about MVP's method and team.
4. **Diagnosis and proposal**: MVP first runs a diagnosis: a review of your accounts, content, deals, existing contracts and risks. Then it proposes a plan that says what will be done, who does it, for how long, what it costs and how to leave. The diagnosis is free.
5. **Sign and start**: Once the contract is signed, a dedicated team looks after you long-term and agrees regular reviews with you.

## Why choose MVP?

MVP works in two markets with one team accountable end to end: it operates in mainland China and North America at once, one team connects positioning, operations, partnerships, communications and risk management, and a dedicated team looks after each client long-term.

By its own count, as of October 2026 MVP works with about 20 talent clients across categories, with over 40 million followers across platforms; its founding team and partners bring more than 15 years in show production, tour promotion, event planning and media marketing.

For brands, MVP opens the ad accounts and settles the spend, and targets such as reach and ROI can be written into the contract, with the platforms’ ad-console reports as the evidence. Client information is handled under NDA; see [Confidentiality](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/confidentiality).

## What is changing for high-profile creators and public figures?

- [Labeling AI-Generated Content: China's Rules vs Platform Policies](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/insights/ai-generated-content-labels): As of October 2026, China's Measures for Labeling AI-Generated and Synthetic Content require AI-made text, images, audio and video to carry labels: AI tools add a visible label where content could mislead and an implicit one to the file metadata, platforms check and display them, posters declare AI content, and no one may strip a label. Douyin, Xiaohongshu and WeChat Channels write the duty into their terms, while TikTok, YouTube and Meta require labels on realistic AI content and may add labels automatically when files carry C2PA or similar signals.
- [Ad Standards Influencer Disclosure Guidelines 2025: What Changed](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/insights/canada-influencer-disclosure-2025): The Fall 2025 edition of the Ad Standards influencer disclosure guidelines, current as of October 2026, changes the Fall 2023 edition this way: it accepts #Gifted and #InvitedGuest, lets a clear paid-partnership tool stand on its own, and adds guidance on safe zones, affiliate links, child audiences, and AI-generated influencers and images. The guidelines are the Canadian advertising industry's own recommended practice; the law behind them is the Competition Act, enforced by the Competition Bureau.
- [China Advertising Law absolute terms: when an ad may say “best”](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/insights/china-ad-law-absolute-terms): China’s Advertising Law bans absolute terms such as “national-level”, “highest-grade” and “best” in Article 9(3), and as of October 2026 local regulators apply it with SAMR’s 2023 Enforcement Guidelines on Absolute Terms in Advertising. A claim that points at the product and fits none of the guidelines’ nine carve-outs can cost the advertiser a fine of CNY 200,000 to 1,000,000; a first use with slight harm, promptly corrected, may go unpunished.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does MVP mean by "talent management"?

At MVP, talent management means building and looking after the public profile of a founder, creator, celebrity or company, which Chinese marketers call an "[IP](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/glossary/ip)". It is not HR talent management (hiring and developing employees), and MVP does not license entertainment franchises or design characters or mascots.

### Why does MVP only work with established public figures?

Because a dedicated team looks after each client long-term: strategy, day-to-day accounts, brand deals and protection together. "Established" means, for creators, at least 100,000 followers and a steady record of content and brand deals; celebrities, founders and companies are judged by their standing in their field, not by follower count alone. How each kind of client pays is set out under [How does MVP charge?](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/approach#faq). This bar applies to talent management only; brand work has no minimum, see [Brand marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands).

### Does someone who is already well known still need a talent manager?

It depends on whether today's problems are more than your current team can handle. Once you are known, the question usually shifts from being seen to lasting: a positioning that has aged, weaker deals, a team pulling in different directions and more risk. Those problems need one team that answers for the whole picture.

### Which markets and languages does MVP work in?

MVP works in mainland China and North America, in Chinese and English. Talent management covers Douyin, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), Weibo, Bilibili and WeChat as well as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, see [Channel operations](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/services/operations); brand work takes Chinese brands abroad, mainly to North America, and brings international brands into China, see [Brand marketing](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/brands). The two contracting companies are listed on [About MVP](https://www.mvpdata.net/en/about).
